    After 6 months of testing we have decided on the final flavours for Fusion Brewing's latest creation - Prime Beer.

     

    Prime is made for meat - whether beef, lamb or more gamier cuts such as venison and kangaroo.

     

    Prime is an amber ale style beer with complex malty flavours and high bitterness to be the perfect complement to seared red meat.

Bluebottle's Taste

After extensive testing of a variety of ingredient combinations we finally settled upon combining special American hops with German yeast, Australian barley and fused it with the cleanest water. We then added our unique 'zesty finish' to produce Bluebottle's unique boutique flavour.

Bluebottle Beer® is a seductive blend of lifted aromatics, bitterness, and a citrus sting to enhance the flavours of the sea.

Our Inspiration

Bluebottle Beer® began in Pyrmont amongst Sydney's Fish Markets and on the doorstep of Darling Harbour. 

 

 

Prompted by our love of fresh seafood, and the lack of a truly complementary beverage to match the seafood dining occasion we decided to create the perfect boutique Australian beer to match. We enlisted the assistance of both a 'Chef's Hat' awarded chef and famed national food writer in Matthew Evans, and also one of Australia's most awarded master-brewers in Brian Watson. 

 

After countless taste variations and consumer testing across 6 months, Bluebottle Beer was born and has now gone on to win quite a few awards we're very proud of.
